I’ve always liked how an F1 pit stop works like choreography. I staged that moment using myself as being represented by the car. I took apart a model supercar and left the main shell a flat gray, then spray-painted each removed panel in high-saturation colors (orange, hot pink, aqua, etc.). Every color stands for something added to me by different figures who have impacted me. The crew figures were 3D printed, then hand-sanded and painted. On the back of each I printed a single Korean character, the surname of someone who has supported me. I posed them mid-action, reattaching the colored parts to the gray body.
