Urban Playground
This is my largest sculpture. I wanted a city that feels half realistic, and half imaginative. I started by building a metal-frame base and laying plastic track so miniature cars could loop through. After that I assembled two towers from plamodel scraps, kit parts, and styrene sheet. Each face of the towers shows a different piece of city life; offices, traffic, signage, construction, and people resting. They are placed in unrealistic formations to mimic how memory rearranges the city in our mind. Compressing distance, exaggerating scale, and merging moments that never truly coexist. Details including small figures and cars were placed last, along with a gift box element that sits next to the towers like “unopened future.”
